This policy explains what personal information Ellehaus LLC ("Ellehaus", "we", "us") collects through ellehaushomes.com and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Information you give us. When you use the enquiry form, join the waitlist, email, call or text us, we receive what you choose to share: your name, email address, phone number, the neighborhood or address of your lot or home, the type of project, your timing, and any details in your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the time of your visit. Essential cookies may be used to keep the site and the form working.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry and arrange a first conversation.
To review a lot or home you ask us about, and to prepare budget ranges and proposals.
To keep your place on the commission waitlist and write to you when a start date opens.
To run, secure and improve the website.
To meet legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not send newsletters unless you ask for them.

Calls and text messages

If you give us your phone number or text us, we may call or text you about your enquiry or project. We will not send marketing texts without your consent. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us run the business, such as our website and form host (Wix) and our email provider. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
Your project team. With your permission, we share project details with architects, designers, engineers and trades working on your home.
Legal reasons. When required by law, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.

Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies. Our host may set cookies that are needed for security and for the enquiry form to work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as intended.

Our site links to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Houzz and YouTube. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle information.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and waitlist information for as long as it is useful to respond to you or hold your place, and project records for as long as the law or our warranty obligations require. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those obligations.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive financial details through the website form.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
